Image Details:

Another picture of the black-naped oriole (Oriolus chinensis) that I took from my flat this morning. This is a passerine bird in the oriole family and commonly sighted here in most of the neighbourhood. This is an adult male which is distinguished by its central tail feathers tipped yellow and the lateral ones being more broadly yellow. I could see them here almost daily. This particular one suddenly flew and perched itself on the wet palm tree and flew off in 5 mins! I was fortunate to have captured multiple shots at close proximity.
