Equipment Details:

Basic "eyepiece projection" method with me simply holding up an Apple iPhone 8 to a Celestron 11-inch SCT with a Televue 41 mm Panoptic eyepiece.

Post-processing Details:

Image Details:

This photograph was taken at dusk just before the sky turned completely black. Seeing conditions were excellent...there was not a cloud in the sky this evening. (The Moon was 83% illuminated). You can clearly see crater Gassendi along the southwest terminator. (As a bonus tonight, the ISS flew under the Moon [in the southern sky] about 35 minutes after this picture was taken).
