M20, the Trifid Nebula in Sagittarius. Almost smack dab in the Galactic center of our galaxy and riding the ecliptic, this beautiful nebula has dust lanes that segment it, giving it its name (even though i see four areas, not three!).
Hydrogen reds and oxygen blues meld into a super structure of star formation at the heart of the Milky Way!
