The Galilean moons (or Galilean satellites)ˈare the four largest moons of Jupiter—Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto seen from my Nikon Coolpix Camera. Using an app to track the exact position of the 4 moons, I therefore label them accordingly on the photo that I had taken in the morning.

The moons are believed to be first seen by Galileo Galilei in December 1609 or January 1610, and recognized as satellites of Jupiter in March 1610.They were the first objects found to orbit a planet other than the Earth.

It is really amazing that I could at least see their formation from the telephoto lens of my camera.
