Equipment Details:

Samsung Galaxy J6 mobile phone camera, in a solomark cell phone holder with dialating eyepiece/coupler, shooting through a basic refractor telescope. Camera settings: Full screen view, Pro mode, with ISO 100, WB auto, brightness at -2.0, full 4x zoom.

Image Details:

Venus is getting taller everyday, but thinner as well. Here, illuminated at just 4.2% , it outshines everything else by far, and is much easier to find than the moon for the same 4.2% illumination. Enjoy it while you can and marvel at how brightly something so thinly illuminated can shine.
