Using a Samsung Galaxy J6 Mobile Phone Camera, in Pro Mode (Low ISO, Low brightness), mounted in a Solomark cell phone holder with dilating eyepiece/coupler, shooting through the lense of a basic refractor telescope with as much stillness as possible and keeping the camera lense parallel to the telescope lense, with Venus in the middle of the telescope viewing field, to reduce image distortion and to minimize the red/blue band fringes around the image.
Venus at 9% illumination, seen live and up close, is very enchanting for its large, elegant form, high contrast, scintillating brightness. This rough photo doesn't capture what only can be properly enjoyed through live viewing with your own eyes. Don't miss the upcoming conjuntion with Mercury!
