Decided to try for an image of a shadow cast by Venus. Easier than I thought. Set up a small telescope and globe in front of a white screen in a dark area behind my observatory. Took several images, including one at 10:39 pm that showed the shadow shifted upwards as Venus declined in elevation about 3 degrees.
