Tried out astrophoto with the new Nikon D5300 mounted on a Celestron AVX mount. Limited to 30 seconds exposures due to not having the USB cable, I will soon have the cable and then I can freely set as long exposures as I want using Backyard Nikon.

So this was just a test for fun. Came out pretty nice after all. Only had ca 4 clear nights since the end of November, so you gotta take every chance to have some silent lonelytime under the stars. I like the framing against the woods also, even though it becomes pretty blurry due to multiple shots.
