Not sure what this phenomenon is called; there was a bright halo around the sun, and then another huge ring oriented horizontally - it paralleled the horizon and stretched around behind us in a full 360 and passed through the sun's disk in front of us. Near the two intersection points of the two rings were brilliant rainbow sundogs!
