Image Details:

Couldn't help but notice how much Lunar real estate there is South of Tycho on this month's Full Moon! This is due to the Moon's libration (wobbling) in latitude. This deviation ranges
+/-7° and can easily be detected by noting Tycho's proximity to the South limb.
There is also libration in longitude, but this was similar on both Dec's and Feb's Full Moon.
Libration in longitude can easily be detected by noting the Sea of Crises' proximity to the East limb.
Both images were captured at the same magnification and when placed side-by-side you can easily tell that Feb's Full Moon is larger (closer) than Dec's Full Moon (by 12%).
But I sure couldn't tell just by looking at it!
