The North America Nebula setting in the northwest last night. (And battling with cloud cover.) This is a DSO nightscape: incorporating both the foreground landscape and a deep space object in one photo. It's not a composite but a blend, i.e., the sky frames and foreground frames were all shot in immediate sequence, in a single camera orientation, from one location.
