RAW NEF images were processed using Nikon NX-D then imported into Mac Photos for conversion to black and white and further processing. Three overlapping photos were then combined using Autostitch.

This panorama of previous Milky Way photos was made using the Autostitch application for Mac OS.
The Milky Way pics were previously taken in an overlapping sequence but could not be stitched together into a panorama until now. Black and white helps bring out the beautiful dark nebulae of our galaxy.
Pretty amazing.
