New Moon above Spectacular Sunset Display
At 6.39 pm on Friday 27th December the New Moon first appeared above a spectacular after sunset display. Fortunately the sunset illuminated cloud cleared sufficiently over the next hour for the Moon to be photographed setting with Venus and Saturn.
