While observing the Sun thru my H-α scope I caught a glimpse of a halo from the corner of my eye. Went down to the Garden to capture this image.
I believe that Solar halos occur in your sky more often than you think. Some are well defined while others are obscure. They are difficult to see if you look up at the Sun. You really need to put the Sun behind something like a tree, a building or a loved one. No loved ones were available for this shot.
