The G9X has an intervalometer.
Images are captured, stacked and processed internally. I'm lazy.
Near the Equator, star trails are always a concave downwards function. Nothing is circumpolar.
The Observatory deck faces South. This is looking directly North from the Garden. You can see that the Observatory is aligned very well to the Meridian.
The 2 brightest stars near the bottom of both images are Vega and Deneb.
