I knew there was going to be a -3 magnitude ISS pass above my house this morning, but I became discouraged when I saw the bright Moonlight and cloud cover. Being the tenacious devil that I am, I decided to attempt the shot anyway. Besides, it's difficult for me to go back to sleep once I'm up and about. It may have something to do with the 4 cups of Arabica dark roast that I inhale.
But I digress. The image gives the appearance of a daytime pass thanks to the Lunar glare.
The ISS is passing between Gemini and Procyon. This is facing directly East.
Those 2 Wi-Fi antennas on the roof are my only link to the civilized world. Which is just fine for a recluse like myself.
I sort of like using this section to compose a short story. I see now why people do it.
