At least two separate destructive tornadoes ripped through the Dallas-Fort Worth (Texas) area on Tuesday, April 3, 2012. There is apparent damage from the tornadoes, which tore the roofs from houses and tossed large tractor trailer trucks into the air.
Several other developing twisters were reported as a band of violent storms moved north through the Dallas-Fort Worthmetropolitan area.
We have no information at this time about injuries.
Bottom line: The National Weather Service confirmed at least two separate “large and extremely dangerous” tornadoes in the Dallas-Fort Worth area earlier today (April 3, 2012).
