Dr. Beverley Wills

E&S Board of Directors

Dr. Beverley Wills is one of the Board of Directors of Earth & Sky, Inc., our associated non-profit organization. She helps guide educational activities of our group – for example, creating content “balloons” on Sky in Google Earth – and keeps us true to our mission of being a clear voice for science. Beverley is also a professional astronomer and a research scientist at The University of Texas at Austin, with a special interest in active galactic nuclei (AGN), immensely bright regions located in distant galaxies that are thought to contain supermassive black holes at their cores. She has a special love for early music, running, and painting, and she’s a dedicated advocate for the work of our organization.
