Observatory, Bridgewater State University
The Observatory of Bridgewater State University is a Massachusetts astronomical observatory, just 35 miles (57 km) south of Boston, Massachusetts. Home to a Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope as its main research instrument in addition to more than a dozen other telescopes, the observatory is dedicated to educating and sparking an interest in science, particularly astronomy, in the regional community by hosting public viewing nights, educational presentations, and K-12 workshops. The observatory staff will show visitors constellations, planets, stars, nebulae, galaxies and star clusters, and will be happy to answer any questions about astronomy.
