Pleasant View Community Park
December 22, 2017
Pleasant View Community Park is located in the city of Pleasant View 27 miles (43 km) northwest of Nashville off I-24. The park is a popular spot for football, soccer and other sports and has walking and nature trails. A shelter with picnic tables and restrooms is also on site. An EarthSky member recalls one memorable observing day: “The Pleasant View Community Park consists of 32 acres of farmland which was a prime viewing location for the 2017 Eclipse. People came from as far as the UK and Australia.”
