View lunar eclipse of December 10, 2011 by webcam

Your computer screen will come in a pale second to a view of the December 10, 2011 total lunar eclipse in the real sky. But if you’re on the wrong side of the world, or it’s cloudy where you are, try a webcam. Here are some places you can view tonight’s lunar eclipse of by webcam.

Who will see tonight’s eclipse?

Remember, if you’re in North America, the eclipse is Saturday morning. Elsewhere in the world, it’s Saturday night.

The partial eclipse begins at 12:45 UTC. Totality begins at 14:05 UTC; mid-eclipse is 14:32 UTC; and the total eclipse ends at 14:57 UTC. The partial eclipse ends at 16:18 UTC. How do I translate UTC into my time?

Enjoy!
