This is a stack of three frames for increased light gathering and reduced sensor noise, with a light-pollution reduction.
Milky Way + aurora. I wasn't expecting the aurora! I had left my camera out to do an all-night timelapse of the Milky Way, looking to the northwest. No aurora had been forecast, or if it was, I missed the news. So what a wonderful surprise! Though now I wish I had turned my camera a bit further to the north....
