The south sky lights up with a gigantic courtain of light, with distinctive red tints on the top, as a G3-strong geomagnetic storm fills the earth with vibrant supercharged auroras. During the same night, thousands of people reported seeing "red auroras" from all over Europe (and other lower latitudes of the world), making it already on of the best shows in years.
