A short exposure (ISO-400, 1/400 sec) was blended with a longer exposure (ISO-400, 0.5 sec) using Photoshop to show earthshine without blowing out the waning crescent Moon.
This image shows the beautiful waning crescent Moon with prominent earthshine very close to brilliant Venus. It was well worth rising before sunrise to see this stunning sight!
