Beautiful daytime occultation of Venus. It was even possible to see with the naked eye almost until the occultation. Very bright sky and low contrast in the middle of the day, but still a marvelous sight to watch. In my 12" Dobsonian it was perfect to see Venus in a half phase and the very thin moon together. The occultation itself took several seconds until Venus was completely covered. Magnificent celestial event.
