A Great Egret that has a small fish in its bill. One cannot miss him because of his large size, white plumage. long yellow orange bill and long black legs like stilts,
He was hunting at the muddy edge of the creek, and he just caught the small fish in the photo. He would swallow the fish head first, so the scales and the fins will not hurt his esophagus, the fish will simply slide down whole.
