Equipment Details:

It was a thrill starting off the month of November photographing an Eastern Screech owl. I caught it's little yawn. This one is a gray morph (there are also red morphs).

D500 with Nikon 600 f/4 lens on a tripod

It was a thrill starting off the month of November photographing a gray morph Eastern Screech owl (there are also red morphs). A little challenging with it being back lit & so high up in the tree. But I did get it's cute little yawn.
