this full moon is special as per hindu culture as we worship goddess lakshmi (goddess of weath) on this day.

this full moon is named lakshmi purnima, (purnima meaning full moon)

People of our region worship rice (staple food in indian north eastern part) as part of lakshmi devi (ie goddess of wealth)

this photo was taken on this auspicious evening after moon rises over horizon with newly sprouted rice of a rice field in the foreground.
