Image Details:

The photographic conditions weren’t ideal. But the experience was magical as a syzygy of owl (Northern Boobook), full moon, and Jupiter aligned in the austere autumn skies. The camera was trained on the owl, rendering Jupiter slightly out of focus and making it look bigger in the picture than to the eye. You might also notice the bright moonlight shining through the tail feathers of the owl.
