After days of 80F degrees, a cold front is coming. With the October Full Moon, that means MIGRATION here in NJ.
There are many species of birds, bats and insects that rely on the “full” moon and migrate when wind conditions are favorable (from the north or northwest for southbound migration.) In 23 minutes, (10/28/23 9:23 PM ET to 9:46 PM ET)
My husband and I counted over 30 birds migrating across the face of the Moon.
