Conjunction of Waxing Crescent Moon and Antares.
An unexpected clearance of cloud late afternoon on Wednesday 18th October provided a good view of the four day old 15% illuminated Waxing Crescent Moon in conjunction with the bright red star Antares (below left) at 6.00 pm.
