Creative idea: On October 1 or 2 every year, the sun can be seen rising from Jinmao Tower, Shanghai Global Financial Center and Shanghai center at the top of Tianping Mountain in Suzhou.
I arrived at the top of Tianping Mountain in the early morning of October 2, 2023, and the air transparency was very good. Before the sun appeared, my eyes could see the three tallest buildings in Shanghai.
I have taken about 370 photos, and selected four photos to combine together, which can clearly show the whole process of the sun rising and surpassing Shanghai center, the highest building in Shanghai.
Shooting plan: We used two types of photography software: PP3D and PLANIT PRO, targeting the Shanghai Global Financial Center. The software automatically calculated the shooting location of Tianping Mountain.The straight-line distance from the Shanghai Global Financial Center is approximately 96 kilometers, and the camera arrived at approximately 4:30 am to find the target and adjust the shooting parameters. At around 5:58, the sun began to emerge from the horizon, and everything went according to plan, creating a perfect shot. We also enjoyed an unforgettable sunrise.
