The photo was taken with a Nikkor 400mm 5.6 ED-IF telephoto lens set to f8 or f11 attached to a Nikon D810 DSLR.
Nothing other than resizing.
I went to Montréal's Old Port to try get some #UrbanAstroPhotography photos of the October 14, 2023, partial solar eclipse juxtaposed with an interesting landmark, but that was not practical. It was quite cloudy, but the clouds actually add drama and interest to what would otherwise be a rather boring photo of a modest partial solar eclipse. I used a Baader solar filter intended for photographic purposes
