Image Details:

This image of the partial solar eclipse of October 14, 2023—we had 80% totality in my area—was made in central California, about twenty miles south of the State Capital, Sacramento. The exposure was made just a few minutes after maximum. We were lucky to have some clouds, which added a lot of interest to the eclipse, but not so many clouds that the eclipse couldn't be seen.
