Image Details:

The Trifid Nebula. A very difficult object to photograph in higher northern latitudes but still happy how this turned out. This is in HARGB. A combination of the Astronomik L2 and Idas Nbz filter data. I extracted the channels from both filters and worked on the 'R' (Ha) channels, then followed some pixelmath tutorial on YouTube on how to combine the two or more like how to add the Ha from the Idas to the Astronomik L2 data. This consists of 14 minutes of exposure time with the Astronomik L2 filter from a bortle 3 sky near Tann Hill Inn and 2 hours 20 minutes of exposure with the Idas Nbz filter under bortle 4 skies in Nidderdale Moors. A total integration time of 2 hours and 34 minutes. The images were taken on 7th and 9th of July and September 12th 2023
