This image was taken with my Celestron Rasa 8 and Zwo 183mc pro camera mounted on the Sky-watcher EQ6 R Pro mount. I used the Astronomik L2 Uv/Ir Blocking Filter for natural star colours. Images taken under bortle 7 skies
Pixinsight was used to stack and processed the final stacked light frame. I also use calibration frames for better quality. A bit of star reduction was used using Bill Blanshan's star reduction method 3 in PixInsight
NGC 457 or the Owl Cluster is one of my favourite open Star Cluster around. It lies in the northern constellation of Cassiopeia the seated queen. This constellation has a lot of open star clusters to explore
