Mag 14.0:9/8, Type II. Images acquired Sept 10-16. This is an interesting galaxy classified as a Seyfert galaxy, an active galaxy with a supermassive black hole at its center and four optical jets originating from its nucleus. Note the disruption in the galaxy from interactions with galaxy 1097a near the position of the new supernova.
