Having experienced the Northern Lights in southwest Michigan in March, I knew it was possible, but this far outweighed what I saw then! This time the pillars were obvious, and even though the colors weren't this vibrant to the eye, the shifting, shimmering green and pink tinted colors lit the sky over Lake Michigan! So glad I chanced it, it was a great night!
