Super bright Venus at dawn under the Milky Way arch.
I had a permit for night time photography at the Island Beach State Park in New Jersey. I had planned to get a time-lapse of the rising Milky Way. After setting up the camera, I went to the car and closed my eyes to take a nap. When I woke up, a bright object was shining directly in front of me. I thought it was an airplane and it was going to pass. But it didn't. Then I realized it was Venus, so incredibly bright! The Milky Way was barely visible, though the camera caught it pretty well.
