Image Details:

A dear elderly friend pointed out to me that this magnificent eagle is imitating a U.S. Postal Service stamp. I researched online and found the stamps. The stamps came out in 1978 (orange) at 15cents, 1981 (purple at 18cents, brown at 20cents) and 1985 (green at 22cents). The eagle was just landing on the top of the spruce tree when I shot this image.
