Image Details:

Spotted a single red-breasted parakeet (Psittacula alexandri) identified by a large identified by the large red patch on its breast. An alternative name is the moustached parakeet depending on subspecies. Both sexes are bright green with salmon-colored chests, gray-blue heads, and a black mustache. Males have a bright red upper bill, while females’ bills are wholly black. Usually seen flying over speedily, giving high-pitched, grating shrieks.

This is a bit different from my earlier posting of the rose-ringed parakeet. Was fortunate enough to see one from the higher floor of my block which was resting on a the branch for a while. It look so pretty !
