This is an 8-shot composite of the moment the Northrup Grumman Antares vehicle launched from Wallops Island, Virginia carrying supplies to the International Space Station. Launch occurred at 12:40:03 EST, and this sequence covers about 10 seconds around that launch time. It was a crystal clear and cold day at the launch site. Photos taken from a site about 2 miles away from the launch pad.
