The waning gibbous moon at 98.4% full setting this morning. The sky was cloudy , so the moon was visible in a lunar corona. On the top of the picture is part of the street lantern decoration put up during the lunar new year celebrated by the Chinese. The chines new year celebrations last for 15 days which also marks the lantern festival. This picture shows a contrast between a natural light(moon) and a lantern light.
