Image Details:

Snow moon seen here about 2 hrs before its setting in the northwest direction this morning. On full moon days, the skies are mostly cloudy during the rise and setting though the moon shows up intermittently between the clouds. This moon was about 99.8 % full transiting into the waning gibbous moon over the next few days. Also a lunar corona was forming and within minutes the moon was no longer visible after being engulfed in the thick clouds.
