Image Details:

Above the lower conventional clouds, no longer illuminated by the setting sun, the photo shows a plume of volcanic sulfate aerosols from the stratospheric Tonga eruptions. Note its brilliant striated structure, that would 20 minutes later become a bright yellow twilight arch.
