Image slightly brightened with PhotoScape.
The photo shows the waxing crescent moon, 9.4% illuminated, surrounded by the vivid exotic colors of the evening twilight, that hint at the presence of lingering traces of volcanic aerosols from Tonga eruptions. The star to the left of the moon is Formalhaut (Alpha Piscis Austrini), while very low Jupiter was occulted by clouds.
