I drove up north a bit from me, very early on a sub zero morning (wicked cold), to observe eagles gathering at the dam near a reservoir. We stayed in the car, but still got a show! A few different times one would fly right over the car. By the little bit of brown still in the tail feathers, and the bit of white in the wings, you can tell it is a fourth year bald eagle.
