Orion f/6 80mm ED80T-CF telescope with OVL field flattener, ZWO ASI533MC Pro camera with UV/IR cut filter, SkyWatcher EQ6R Pro mount

Post-processing Details:

38 4-minute lights plus calibration frames were stacked using ImagesPlus; other post-processing with SiriL, Photoshop CS2 plus Astronomy Tools plugin, ImagesPlus and PhotoScape X

Image Details:

The Owl Nebula (Messier 97) and the Surfboard Galaxy (Messier 108), imaged on 4 January 2022. Messier 97 is a planetary nebula about 2,030 light years from Earth. Messier 108 is a barred spiral galaxy approximately 46 million light years from Earth. Both of these Messier objects are located in Ursa Major.
