I took this photo of the cathedral ubicated in my village, Guadix. Usually, cathedrals are only found in big cities, but Guadix is a village full of history and culture! The rocks you see under the cathedral are ruins from an ancient Roman theater, that was actually used for 300 years. After that, some pieces were used to build the cathedral, and the remaining pieces stood there, covered by dust for years until we found them a decade ago! The cathedral has 3 different styles: Late Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque. This is due to its construction for 3 centuries (XVI - XVIII). Today, you can visit the cathedral, the Roman theater and the Roman wall that protected its inhabitants.
