Image Details:

A Celestial Pizza.

The image compares the sizes of sun and moon, the two largest celestial bodies in our sky. The four slices are from the year 2021 when these two celestial bodies were at their extreme sizes: largest and smallest. The moon at perigee appears larger the sun at perihelion. Also, the moon at apogee appears smaller than the sun at apohelion. The respective dates, their distance from earth and their angular diameter (in arcminutes) are mentioned in the image.

All the images were taken with the same camera (Nikon D5600) and same lens (Sigma 150-600c) at the same focal length (600mm).
